This tutorial shows you how to set up Let’s Encrypt free SSL certificate on your website(s) hosted on Directadmin web hosting control panel.
Step 1 – Login to Directadmin panel using your username and password. Usually, the URL is at https://yourdomain.com:2222/
Step 2 – Once you logged in, choose your domain that you wish to install free SSL (if you have more than one domain in one hosting account).
Step 3 – Click on the SSL Certificates menu
Step 4 – Choose “Free & automatic certificate from Let’s Encrypt” as shown in the image below.
Step 5 – Choose on which domain and/or sub-domains you wish to install the certificates on.
This example shows you that installation will be done on the main domain and two sub-domains.
Step 6 – There are some advanced options displayed. You can simply leave it as it is then click the Save button.
Step 7 – Wait for the task to finish. Once succeed, you’ll see something like this.
Step 8 – Congratulation! You have successfully installed free SSL on your website.
